This course has organized a complete set of Level 1 and Level 2 freestyle skills into into 6 steps, with over 50 sequential assignments. This course will guide you in mastery of the stroke and of pace control over the full distance of your swim.
This skills developed by stage are:
- Stage 1: Achieve Optimal Stroke Length And Consistency
- Stage 2: Learn To Shift Stoke Gears On Command
- Stage 3: Achieve Optimal Pace with ‘Stroke Length x Tempo’ Combinations
- Stage 4: Learn To Shift Pace On Command
- Stage 5: Learn To Hold Pace Over Distance
- Stage 6: Improve Pace Over Distance
This membership will have access to Stage 1 and Stage 2.
Through your study of this course you have the opportunity to practice and internalize powerful training principles so you can use them over and over again for any improvement goal you set your heart upon.
This is a self-paced course. You may work through the assignments at the rate suitable to your needs and schedule. Each person following this online course will have a unique personal goal – in terms of distance and pace – and each person will have their own budget of training time and pace of learning. Therefore it is our intention is to explain the stages and the principles and allow you to make decision on how to best personalize the assignments as you follow this course.
You may work through this as a Self-Guided course or Coach-Guided.
For those following the Coach-Guided option, you may leave reports on your practice results, observations and questions in your Personal Discussion Zone. Your coach will respond to those each week, guiding your interpretation and helping you making decisions for how to personalize the practices further.
This membership is suitable for those who have had some initial experience in a live TI workshop or series of lessons. It is suitable for those working anywhere in Level 1 and Level 2 skills.
